Thank you, Moya, for writing to us! We have lots of snow. I wish you could borrow some of it! I visited your blog and love the photo you have of Hansel and Gretel on the header of your class site.

What a great Blog you have here; I have enjoyed taking a look round (and once we are back at school we will have a closer look altogether).

Why not check out ours, 'A Window into 2i's World' (http://cdnpyp2il.blogspot.com/)? It is one of the many individual class Blogs at the International School of Geneva.

Thank you and all the best for 2009
Jenny Downing
Class 2i teacher
(by the way, Class 2 at our school is the same as an American Grade 1, so we will probably be most interested in what your Grade 1 classes are up to!)

Hello Georetown Elementary School,
That's a great picture you have up there to show winter. Like what Mr Webb said right now it is Summer but it still rains and can get quite cold some days. Not many children have seen snow. I haven't seen snow either. What would you prefer a Winter Christmas or a Summer one? Our children are on holiday but we would like to share our work with you when they return.
Happy Holidays

Yes, its amazing in New Zealand we have our Christmas break but we are in the middle of Summer so we don't have snow or any of those traditional Christmas themed things... our students are fascinated by snow but most have never seen snow at all... great blog by the way... really nice 'feel' to it.

Have enjoyed looking round your blog. Here in Scotland we have snow also with loads more forecast for tonight. Perhaps you would like to look at our brand new blog and the things we have been doing at our school? Please post us a comment
