BREAST CANCER AWARENESS FUNDRAISER
Benefiting SUSAN G. KOMAN for the CURE: 100% OF PROCEEDS DONATE

On Friday, May 1, 2009 Georgetown Elementary school will be having a breast cancer awareness fundraiser day. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Fundraising will take place by purchasing a breast cancer awareness product (see product order form) or by donations. These products would make a great Mother’s Day gift!! Please make all checks out to the Georgetown Parent Club. Products can be pre-ordered between April 13 – April 21, 2009. This will allow us to know how many products to order. The same products will also be for sale on Friday, May 1 if you do not pre-order them in advance. A table with products displayed will be set up in the school for kids and parents to purchase an item or make a donation. This will also be the time to pick up your pre-ordered item.

On Friday, May 1 the kids will celebrate PINK PARTY Day and are being asked to wear as much PINK as possible. The teachers from each grade will be judging for the most PINK outfit and a child from each grade will win a prize. We also plan to have the local newspaper(s) take a photo of all the kids in pink and publish an article in the newspapers.

Please return this Order Form between April 14 and April 21. Checks should be made payable to Georgetown Elementary.

*This project is being organized by Ashley Teisman, a 4th grader at Georgetown Elementary.
