Thank You, Parent Club!

giftOn Wednesday, December 16, our Parent Club hosted a holiday breakfast for the staff.  Susie Coxen and Kristi Fellows, along with several under cover parents transformed the multi-purpose room into a festive, candle-lit atmosphere that was filled with the smells of all things yummy:  pastries, potato casseroles, egg dishes and delicious coffee!

Many thanks to everyone who supplied food and made this event possible.  This was a wonderful way for usbfast to begin our day together.  During the breakfast, we thanked the PTC for their outstanding leadership—especially with the support of families and students that are struggling during these difficult times.  Because of parent support through fund raisers and donations, we were able to make sure that children had gifts from  The Secret Santa Workshop and others have jackets and coats for winter–as well as mittens and hats.

When Georgetown opened in 2006, the PTC committed to supporting the families, students and teachers through events, activities and service projects.  These goals continue to be strong — and this makes our school community stronger as a result!
