Week 32: April 27-May 1

Congratulations to our 5th Graders who did an amazing job persevering through seven days of M-STEP testing.    To celebrate their hard work, they selected an all school theme day for this coming Friday:  BACKWARDS DAY.  How do you celebrate BACKWARDS DAY?  Check out the image on the right for an idea!

This week our fourth graders will be taking the tests — and the schedule has been adjusted just a bit.  We adjusted this weeks tests so that we go Monday-Thursday with no test on Friday.  The updated schedule is below:

4th

A reminder to 5th grade parents:  IF your child is planning to participate in the music program at BMS during 6th grade, there is a parent meeting on Wednesday, April 29 at 7 pm.

If our POPCORN Machine is repaired we will have popcorn day on Friday.  We will keep you posted!

Finally, due to lack of volunteers, the Spring Carnival is.  Volunteers are key to the life of every school event that we hold.  These events are an opportunity for families to meet one another.  If you have ever served on a committee,  you are aware that a small group of people develop ideas for gatherings and fundraising.  The events are possible only with volunteers and without them, the ideas aren’t possible.  WE NEED YOU so please keep this in mind as we look ahead to next year and the many events that we hope to hold for our school community building.  The next Parent Club Meeting is May 12 at 6:30 pm in the Media Center.  Minutes from the April Mtg here:  March Meeting Minutes

Have a great weekend…and an wonderful last week in April.
