News from the office….
We are back into the swing of school and the kids are doing very well! We had a fun day on Thursday with the walk a thon and the kids seemed to really enjoy it! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!! We also had some super ninja warriors going through the obstacles!
If your child is going to be absent, please remember to call their absence in to the office. Notes are a teachers best friend at the end of the day as well. If you are changing how your child is getting home, please send a dated note to the teacher. Thank you from the teachers in advance ; ) . Parents, thank you for doing such a great job at the end of the day with keeping the parking lot clear for the buses!! We sincerely appreciate your help with this!
October 5 and 6, hearing screening will be done for K, 2nd, and 4th grades. Vision screening will be done on 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades. This is done be the Ottawa County Health Department.

PE News….
Elementary student auditions are on Saturday, September 26 in the Baldwin Street Middle School Choir Room. A link is provided in the PDF that will take parents to the sign up for audition times. All students MUST sign up for an audition through the website.Students in Pre-K through 5th grade are welcome! Parents will be expected to volunteer to chaperon rehearsals and will need to provide all transportation. - Annual Fall/Winter Children’s Clothing Sale: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 from 9AM to NOON!! PLEASE NOTE the NEW DATE for the Clothing Sale is October 3! Come to our new location at 6340 Autumn Drive, Hudsonville! We have a very large space to display all children’s clothing, toys, sports equipment, baby paraphernalia, and baked goods!
- Kick off the fall season at Hudsonville’s free fall festival, Urban Hay Day on Saturday, October 17 from 11am-5pm! Enjoy all of the festivities right in down town Hudsonville at two locations (connected by hay rides!). Stop by either Gemmen’s Home & Hardware or the Hudsonville Farmer’s Co-Op to start your fall adventure! Pumpkin races, pony rides, a mechanical bull, bounce houses, a kids tractor pull and tractor show, donuts and cider, pumpkin carving, and more will provide fun for the whole family!
