Week 34: May 16-20

Dandelions Picked by Nathan
Dandelions Picked by Nathan

While working on school projects this weekend, I realized there are just four weeks remaining in the year.  I know how fast four weeks can fly by, especially when the days are filled with to do’s from early in the morning until late afternoon.  The end of the year is bitter-sweet.  We are anxious for warmer weather and change of pace.  At the same time, we are sad to see our fifth graders end their elementary career.  This is an exceptional group of learners — evolving from followers into leaders who stand up for others and work hard to learn well.

BUT…we aren’t letting go yet because there are four weeks to go!  AND…there are so many dandelions left to pick!

We will be wrapping up the year with more learning, assessments and celebrations.  I encourage you to check your child’s class blog for updates about the end of year activities.

Here’s to a great week ahead!  Mrs. Reagan
