News From the Office…

Thank you so much for the generous donations from walk a thon!! We announced all of the winners this past week and the kids were very excited!! The money raised will support many events highlighted here.  We want to say thank you again to all of the parents that volunteered as well. It was a huge success and we are beyond grateful!!

Just a reminder that next week Friday Oct 14 is our next early dismissal day. The kids will be out at 12:15. If your child is a car rider, please be at school at 12:10 for pick up. The kids do not eat lunch at school on early dismissal days. Food Service will be offering a sack lunch on early release days this school year for children to order and take with them to their destination. The cost will be $2.25. Free and reduced benefits will also apply.

October 19 and 20, hearing screening will be done for K, 2nd, and 4th grades. Vision screening will be done on 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades. This is done be the Ottawa County Health Department.

Lastly, this is a reminder that tonight is Homecoming and the Hudsonville Education Foundation has a lot of fun things set up to do before the game. One of those fun things is getting to dunk teachers and staff from the district in dunk tanks!! Our very own Mrs. Ball and Mrs. VanderStel will be in the dunk tanks at 5:00 so wear your blue and yellow and come to see if you can dunk them!!
