Our 5th grade students celebrated their 6 + years at Georgetown with a day at Craig Cruisers on Friday. This day of celebration was well deserved and the most appropriate way to honor all of them. Again, many thanks to YOU…our amazing parents…who generously donated to our Walk•A•Thon. The funds raised through this event fund several school events — and this is one of them!
During this Memorial Day Weekend, I hope that you have time to relax with family 
and friends. It is the unofficial kick off weekend to summer and most importantly, it is the time we owe gratitude to our veterans who served and sacrificed to keep our country strong, safe and free. I would like to offer sincere gratitude to veterans and currently servicing members of our military forces.
