Week 6: Oct 2-6, 2017

Our Week 5 was packed with learning, drills and EAGLE PRIDE.  We concluded all of our fall drills (tornado, fire, lockdown and modified evacuation).  In the spring, we will rehearse these drill routines again to keep them fresh in our minds.

Our EAGLE SPIRIT was in full form on Friday in preparationfor Homecoming weekend.  The HHS Super Fans and Drum Corp pumped up our spirit to the maximum level with Eagle Pride cheers and more in the front loop.  Over 600 of us were dancing with the Super Fans and Eagle Mascot on a beautiful September morning!

Our day concluded with the winners for 2017 Walk•A•Thon Super Hero Event.  This blog post lists all the winners and the record breaking amount raised/donated by parents, families and friends.

Week 6 bring October, fire prevention in grades K and 4, as well as our first PTC sponsored popcorn Friday.  On Thursday at 6:30 in the library we will  hold our PTC meeting.  All parents are invited to attend.

If you are looking for a family activity, visit our Art Prize exhibit and look for your child’s ONLY ONE YOU fish.  Bella is standing in front of her fish…which she found swimming with the hundreds of other Hudsonville fish in the exhibit near Devos Place.

Enjoy this beautiful fall weekend!
