News From the Office…

We had a busy couple of weeks at Georgetown with celebrating walk a thon winners!  Wednesday Mrs. Greenlund’s class went to Pizza Ranch in style! They rode in a limo over to Pizza Ranch and had lunch together! So much fun! Students that won the bowling and pizza party with Mrs. Reagan were able to go to that today! Mrs. Reagan also had a special lunch with some of other winners! We have had a lot of fun celebrating how well the student’s did with the walk a thon this year and can’t thank you enough for your support!

Picture Retake Day is coming up on Oct 26. I’m hoping the pictures will come in soon!! If you want retakes, simply send the original picture packet you will receive back to school with your child on the day of retakes.

Just a friendly reminder from the office that you need to call in your child when they will not be here. When calling please leave what their symptoms are if they are ill. We are required to report to the Ottawa County Health Dept every week and need detailed information when you call in. Also, If you haven’t called your child in and we cannot get a hold of anyone, you will get an automated call from school as well. This is something new and we just started using it this week. Just wanted you to be aware of the new change.

Have a great weekend!!

•Hay Day 5K!!

Love In the Name of Christ is partnering with Hudsonville Chamber & the city of Hudsonville’s Urban HayDay Event to bring you the first annual HayDay 5k!

This official run will travel through the Love INC neighborhood and scenic Elmwood Lake paved trail, raising awareness and funds for the local nonprofit, Love INC, which exists to support and serve the local community to transform lives. As Love INC becomes informed of the needs of vulnerable neighbors, this non-profit alerts local church and business partners and connects them to these individuals while providing guidance and resources they might need.
