WEEK 26: March 5-9, 2018

This week is our first full week of March – and this month brings inconsistent weather (sunshine, rain, snow, sleet, wind), higher energy levels (children), longer teacher work hours (report card and parent/teacher conference prep + the preparing for 420 minutes per day of instruction), and increased time for independent learning as curriculum demands increase for all grades this time of year.

Grades 3-5 has been state test preparation (M-STEP).  This is a required test and it will take place in the weeks immediately following spring break.  The schedule is to the right.  Please make sure you look ahead on your family calendar (Gr 3,4,5) to make sure that your child is at school on the days listed.   Please change any appointments so they do not occur the mornings of testing.

We have a JET’S PIZZA NIGHT on Thursday.  When you order, give your child’s teacher name to help earn a pizza lunch for the classroom. Remember:  Early Release on Friday.

Enjoy the sunshine this weekend.  Here’s to Week 26!
