I hope your post- Halloween weekend was great! If you need an extra hour of sleep to recover, this arrives on Sunday thanks to the end of Daylight Savings Time!
As we look to next week, there are many items on our school calendar. One of the most important events is Parent Teacher Conferences. Our teachers have spent hours during the week, after hours and this weekend to prepare 15 minute meetings for each family. The purpose of the meeting is to provide you with information on how your child is doing socially and academically in the school setting. This is also a time for you to ask questions, see your child’s work samples and find out more about the grade level expectations for your child. I will serve as the HUMAN ALARM CLOCK and call time every 15 minutes.
In addition to conferences, we have the school SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR — held in the library. You will be able to shop during evening conferences, if you choose to do so.
Finally, JET’s PIZZA NIGHT is well timed for Thursday…the end of a very busy and full week. Again, many thanks to Brett @ JET’s for donating lunch for our WALKATHON pizza lunch winners this past Tuesday.
