Snow Day: Friday 2/1/19

Yes…we have another snow day on FRIDAY 2/1/19.

Picture my big crocodile tears running down my cheeks!  I AM SO DONE WITH SNOW DAYS!

THIS MEANS that I was not CLEAR enough when I said NO MORE of the following:

  1. NO MORE flushing ice cubes down the toilet (thank you to the parents who have already made this a rule).
  2. NO MORE wearing PJ’s inside out.
  3. NO MORE snow day dances.
  4. NO MORE wishing for a snow day.
  5. NO MORE spoons under pillows.
  6. NO MORE WISHING FOR SNOW DAYS.  PERIOD.

So…back to the usual part of the snow day post.  If you can get your child to read (read to them, have them read aloud or silently), or learn via mobymax or Raz Kids or Study Island, have them do it.  If they are learning and you can’t enter it online, email your teacher.

Currently 70% (up 10% from Wednesday) of our student population has engaged in some sort of snow day learning.

Now that we have wrapped up the snow day post, I want to wish you a happy WINTER BREAK — yes, we do have Monday and Tuesday off.  See you on Wednesday,  February 6.
