On Friday, we had LOTS of friendship time outdoors — the weather was beautiful. If you visit the teacher’s blogs you’ll see gorgeous slide shows that highlight events from the final few days of school.
I captures a few photos and videos and these can be viewed above. My favorites are the chalk drawings and the bus departure. When the kids leave, our bus drivers make two rounds of the bus loop, honking theirs horns, while we wave the kids off with pool noodles. It’s been a tradition we’ve had since Georgetown opened in 2006.
SPECIAL NOTE: If your child forgot to return a library book, you can put it in the drop box on the wall in the front walkway of our building. This prevents you from having to keep track of it all summer long.
Have a wonderful summer!
