Those Babies Grow Up So Fast!

Mrs. Bohl, one of our kindergarten teachers, has had a very special summer.  Her oldest daughter, Hannah, was married in July.

When I first met Mrs. Bohl, Hannah was in middle school.  It seems like I was just hearing about Hannah’s transition to high school, high school graduation, transition to college and college graduation.

Mrs. Bohl has more photos posted on her class blog of Hannah, her husband and the bridal party.  In all the photos, Hannah looks like a princess — and Mr. and Mrs. Bohl look very happy.

Wake Up
By Hannah Eggers

It was 7:00 am in the house. I went out of my door. I was going to play a trick on my brother. I was going to wake Caleb up.
“Was that a good plan or was it like the time I threw eggs on the walls?” I thought to myself.
“Oh, well, I’ll just do the trick. I said in my head.
I went quick and quietly to his room. I opened his door and tip-toed to his bed. I slowly bent down and screamed as loud as I could into his ear. I tried to escape quickly but he saw me and yelled, “ I WILL GET YOU!”
He needs a conscience or needs to do yoga or eat a spicy Italian sandwich from Subway. I’ll use my noise maker when I scare Caleb again.
