A Thank You from the Lamer’s Family

Dear Georgetown Families,

We are so gracious to our community for helping provide a better life and Brodieopportunity for our son, Brodie.  Last year, teachers donated their time and talents for the carnival auction, with all proceeds going toward remodeling of our home.

This remodeling made it possible for us to make changes that improve the quality of Brodie’s life…and make it possible for us to care for him better.

You see, Brodie is in need of so much extra care, that financially we were at the end of our rope.  So,  thank you to all of you that have helped make a difference in blessing Brodie’s life !

We invite you, along with your families, to join us in celebration of the addition with a handicap accessible room, bathroom, and wheelchair ramp.  The open house is sunday, september 12 @ 2-4pm  (cookies and coffee)

Our family would love to thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

♥Matthew, Tisha, Hunter, Emma, Isabelle, & Brodie Lamers ♥

Spring Carnival Donations Needed

April 16, 2010

Dear Georgetown Families,

Georgetown Elementary in Hudsonville will be holding their annual Spring Carnival on Saturday, May 15, 2010.  This is a favorite time for Georgetown families to join together in a day of fun and fundraising.

This year all proceeds from the carnival will be donated to the Lamers Family. This is one special family that is in dire need.  Currently, the Lamers Family is financially struggling with medical expenses incurred with their son, Brodie, who has Cerebral Palsy, a paralyzing medical condition.  This family needs to make accommodations to their home as well as purchase a handicap accessible van for Brodie. In addition to Brodie, Tisha and Matthew have three children to support. In today’s economy, this has been quite a challenge.

The Parent Club would appreciate a donation from ALL of our students.

We need for all students to bring in:

Baked Goods for the Carnival Cake Walk Game: K – 2nd grades

2 Litters of Pop for the Carnival Pop Toss Game: 3rd – 5th grades

All baked goods & 2 liters of Pop should be dropped off to the school office by Friday, 05/14/2010 by 4:00 PM.

If you have cares or concerns, please contact Susie Coxen 669-3662 or Stacey Alexander 914-6896.

Thank You
