Turkey Trot Highlights

This weekend has provided me with time to rest and recover from two very busy weeks which included:  Halloween, working with 650 children who consumed oodles of candy, a time change (not a friend to children’s sleep schedules), a full moon and four late nights at school.

What do I do to relax after weeks like this?  Listen to music, go through my iphoto library, drink tea, eat chocolate, knit, make mittens…AND update the blog with fun photos for YOU!

Here is a collection of TURKEY TROT photos that were taken by my favorite photographer assistant, Malachi Hollis.  Enjoy the show!

Little Green Walking Feet

We had our second day of the GO GREEN WALK-A-THON today!  Congratulations to our ECSE, TTH PK/K and first and second graders for doing an awesome job walking, walking and some more walking.

We were supported in our walking by Mr. Cecchini who rode his unicycle while juggling, Mrs. Troyer and a team of parents who kept us well watered, and three mysterious dad’s who hung out by the bridge and cooled us off with squirt guns!

Many thanks to Malachi, my photographer buddy, who took photos for me so I could walk and talk with some great kids.  Remember:  You can send your WALKATHON DONATIONS into school between now and September 30.  Thank you for ALL you do to support us at Georgetown.
