Georgetown School Compact

I would like to ask you to look for a very important piece of paper that each of your children will be bringing home from school.  It is called the GEORGETOWN SCHOOL COMPACT.

This paper serves as a signed contract that binds each of us to work togethercompact toward helping your children learn throughout the year.  Four signatures are required to make the compact official:  principal, teacher, student and parent.

When the compact arrives home, please read this over, share it with our child, sign and return it to school.  The classroom teachers will discuss the compact with the children–helping them to see that their compact has already been signed by me and the teacher.

Thank you for taking the time to do this and show your child your willingness to support them as a learner at Georgetown Elementary School.
