WORD OF THE WEEK: INTEGRATE

We have a three syllable word for this week:  in-te-grate.  This words comes from the Latin word:  integrātus.  It’s one of our fourth grade level words that we are introducing to all of our students because it is so commonly used by teachers to explain how to bring two concepts together — math, science, social studies, reading.

Integrate is a verb that most commonly means:  put together, combine
