Marco’s Pizza Winner

Mrs. VanderStel’s class has won a pizza lunch from Marco’s!  How did they do this?  Their class ordered the most pizza’s on September 19 — our Georgetown Marco’s Pizza Night.  With every pizza ordered, a portion goes toward our PTC funds.  These funds help to support parent/child activities, frame art work, build our library with better books, etc.

The next Pizza Night is Tuesday, October 2:  JET’S PIZZA.  Order pizza for dinner and give your school and teacher name so your child’s class has a shot at a pizza lunch.

Congrats to Mrs. VanderStel’s Class!

Week 27: March 19-23, 2012

I hope you had a fantastic spring/summer like weekend!  I anticipate that we will see many sun kissed cheeks, foreheads, shoulders and noses on Monday morning.

The first “official” day of spring is on Tuesday, however based on the weather forecast it will feel like summer.  If this weather continues into spring break, I won’t feel too badly about hanging out in West Michigan!

As you look ahead our calendar, you will see that our wonderful 5th graders will be touring Baldwin Middle School on Wednesday.  We are getting them ready for their transition to another building.  I must admit, it’s a hard group for me to see move on.  They have been with us since we opened in 2006….and they represent our Georgetown’s first kindergarten class.  They have many exciting events ahead including instrument choices, class selections and 5th grade camp.

We have a PTC meeting on Tuesday in the Media Center.  We would love to have you join us if you are interested.  The meetings begin promptly at 6:30 and always end on time, 7:30 pm.

Have a wonderful week…enjoy the temperatures and sunshine!

Mrs. Reagan
