[scheduled monthly=”7″ time=”09:00 AM” length=”0:0:10:0″][/scheduled]Did you know that we serve breakfast at school between 8:20 and 9 am? Mrs. Stacey, one of our classroom instructional assistants and lunchroom supervisors, serves juice and cold cereal each school day in the multi-purpose room.
Breakfast is available to all children and part of our food service program. Parents can pre-pay for breakfast by visiting the FOOD SERVICE LINK.
If your child is eating breakfast at school, tell them to enter at the front door or the 2/3 door. They go directly to the Lunch Room/MPR and after eating, they will be dismissed to the playground or their classrooms.
Even if a child forgets their lunch or if their lunch, we want to make sure that they are fed. Our food service department provides cheese sandwiches when these events occur.
The Jen/Hud Food Service Department also sends account notices to families if the balance is past due. They do all they can to keep parents informed.
Again, we want all children to have lunch each school day so we will do all we can to make sure they are provided with a healthy option.
If you want to check your child’s lunch account balance online, please go to this link:

Also, a link can always be found on the left sidebar of our blog.
The food service department has notified us that ‘2nd milks’ will no longer be an option.
Every student who orders hot lunch will have one milk serving. After that, water will be available to those who need more liquid at lunch time.
Please let your child know of this change–especially if your child has been in the habit of having two milks with hot lunch in year’s past.
