Spring Break Count Down

Mr. Rob Assembles GAGA PIT #1
Mr. Rob Assembles GAGA PIT #1

Even though the temperatures have been bitterly cold, Mr. Rob has been assembling our first GAGA PIT on the 4/5 Playground.    As you might recall, the GAGA PIT is reserved for the highest earning GAGA FOR DOLLARS WINNERS, Mr. K’s fourth graders.  We raised $1,200 —enough for ONE GAGA PIT.

However, Mr. Gryzen (father of Lucas — grade 4) and super hero from Standale Lumber and Hardware, arranged to have enough lumber DONATED for TWO GAGA PITS.  We are very grateful to Mr. Gryzen and Standale for their generosity.

Mr. Rob will assemble the second GAGA PIT over Spring Break.  This pit will be located on the fenced K/1 Playground.  A great location for families to use after hours as well as our PE classes during school hours.

In addition to GAGA PIT excitement, we are counting down to our Spring Break.  We have four days of school this week.  All grades will be finishing up units of study so that new units can begin following vacation.

We will hold our annual GEORGETOWN’s GOT TALENT SHOW on Thursday.  We will video tape every act and post these to the blog the first weekend of break.  If you cannot make it to the show, do not worry.  Seating is limited for parents AND we have you covered with video taped acts.  Times of the acts posted later this week by Mrs. Bretz (music teacher).

Have a great weekend!

Mrs. Reagan
