Happy Friday the 13th Georgetown parents!!!

NEWS FROM THE OFFICE……..  It was a pretty uneventful week this week here at Georgetown.  Which is not a bad thing!  However, on the other hand, we have ALOT of stomach flu going around.  So please make sure you are washing your hands and sanitizing things!!  On that note, please remember to keep your student home for at LEAST 24 hours after they were last sick.  This really helps to prevent the spread of this yucky stuff!!!

FOOD SERVICE NEWS………  Hiring for Substitutes…..The food service department is hiring for substitute positions with the department.  If you are interested, an application can be found on the food service webpage at www.jenhudfood.org.  Applications can be mailed to the address listed on the application, faxed to 667-2119 or dropped off at the food service office Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm.

CALL INS AND NOTES FROM HOME……..  With all of the illness that is going around here at Georgetown we would just like to remind you to PLEASE call your student in if they are going to be LATE or ABSENT for the day.  With 647 students in our building it takes awhile to do attendance and for every student that is NOT ACCOUNTED FOR we MUST make a phone call to check on them.  This can take quite a long time, so it is GREATLY  APPRECIATED if you call your student in.
