I hope that your Labor Day weekend was perfect for you and your family! It was a perfect time for me to relax, see friends and get caught up for the coming week.
The beginning of the week might be difficult for some of our new students, especially kindergarteners. Remember to post a schedule so they know which days they ride the bus or get picked up — and how many school days before the weekend arrives again. It is very helpful for them to see the schedule even if they can’t read it.
Last week Thursday, I welcomed 35 of our new grade 1-5 students to 
Georgetown. They posed for a photo, received a welcome certificate and enjoyed a Sprinkle’s donut. The photo is above (missing just one student).
