News from the Office….

Here goes our countdown…. 19 more SCHOOL DAYS until Spring Break!!! For those of you going away that is exciting news!! It is nice to see the sun a bit more and gives us hope that spring is on its way! Remember there is NO SCHOOL on Monday the 9th of March. There will be a few things going on in the next couple weeks so we will be busy! We love to see parents come to conferences and support your children! Conferences are March 9, 10, and 11. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

bookfairMarch 10-13 is the Spring Book Fair!! If you are available to help and volunteer, you can sign up following this link http://vols.pt/BZucb9 or you can contact Jody Hunt at jmhunt21@hotmail.com  They appreciate as many hands volunteering as possible!! Please consider donating a couple hours of your time!!

Marco’s Pizza Night will be on March 18. Order a delicious pizza and support Georgetown!

PTC Meeting will be held in the library on March 19 at 6:30. We will have Mr. Nick Ceglarek our Superintendant as a guest speaker. Please come and show your support and  learn more about what is going on at school!!

Mother / Son Event payments are due by Friday, March 13. You can make checks payable to Georgetown PTC. Community News….

  • The orchestra program is currently doing a fundraiser with Premier Design Jewelry and we are having an open house at the High School Media Center on March 12 from 3:00-5:00 and also from 6:00-8:00.  Thank you for helping to support the orchestras!
  • On Thursday March 12th from 7pm – 8:30pm Hudsonville along with OSAP will host a community parent night to discuss Teen Trends. This will be held at the Baldwin Street Middle School and is FREE.  Please note that this presentation is appropriate for ADULTS ONLY. 4919_001 You can click on this link to see a flyer.
      
  • Annual Spring/Summer Children’s Clothing Sale:  Mark your calendars for our Spring/Summer Children’s Clothing on Saturday, March 7 from 9AM to Noon at Heritage Christian School.  We are looking forward to a great selection of clothing, sports equipment, indoor/outdoor toys, and of course BAKED GOODS!

  • CAMP INVENTION IS WHERE BIG IDEAS BECOME THE NEXT BIG THING!
    In partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame, Hudsonville Christian School is 
    pleased to offer Camp Invention program to children entering grades one through six on
    June 15-19. Participants will build, enhance and upgrade their very own freestyle racing
    cart and prototype their own new product. They will take apart broken appliances and 
    create a physical video game model, construct super-structure mega-towers, assemble 
    out-of-this-world space rockets and so much more! Register on or before March
