Who Makes Lunch Possible at Georgetown?

It takes a team of people to make sure all 587 students eat their lunches five days a week throughout the school year.  Mrs. Kaper and Mrs. Biesbrock (not pictured below) prepare the hot lunch food each day in the kitchen.   Our students are greeted in the lunchroom by the five staff pictured below who help them to move through the lunch line, milk line and settle into their seats to eat lunch.

Pictured below are Mrs. Emmert, Mrs. Holland, Mrs. Talsma, Mrs. Hatfield and Mrs. Bromley.  These staff members assist with management of the lunch lines, helping children to get their utensils and condiments and opening containers.  They are also key in helping to manage the time so that our children eat their lunch and make it outside to recess which follows lunch.

Many children will tell you that lunch is the most important part of the school day (usually tied with recess for the most important), and these staff members make sure lunch happens on time every single day!
