Welcome Back! Spring Break is behind us and we are entering the final marking period of the 2016-17 year. We will be busy with state testing (M-STEP in grades 3,4,5) as well as rich units of study that integrate reading, writing, science and/or social studies (grades K-5). Spring is also the time for field trips. Each grade is allowed one per year and most take place in April/May. These are funded in part by PTC (through your walk-a-thon donations) – $3.00 per student field trip allocation.
A reminder: Early Dismissal on Friday, April 14. Students will be dismissed @ 12:15 pm. Teachers will be attending curriculum meetings from 1-4pm.
Highlights of the week are below. If you order pizza from Jet’s on Tuesday or Wednesday this week, remember to provide your child’s class name. The class with the most orders receives a Jet’s Pizza Lunch!
