NEWS FROM THE OFFICE……… We have had a spooktacular week here at Georgetown! The Halloween parties were all a big hit and our visiting Raey Guang students were able to participate in all of the excitement! Our students have really enjoyed their visitors this week. They learned to write certain phrases in Mandarin and they were taught how to use the Chinese Yo-yo in P.E. class. Hope you all enjoy your long weekend! : )

The donation of non-perishable items go toward our LOCAL PE CARES:
- The Food collected will be donated to Water of Life Church which serves our community.
- The classroom that brings in the most items will be awarded a P.E. C.A.R.E.S. t-shirt and a trip to Hudsonville bowling lanes. NOTE: TWO is the recommended donation for each child. You can send in MUCH more to help your child’s class win the bowling trip.
- Thank you for your help and support in this LOCAL service project.
- If you have any questions please feel free to email Mrs. Nienhuis (email@example.com) , or Mrs. VanKoevering (firstname.lastname@example.org).

- Every student will receive a SPREAD THE LIGHT wristband as a thank you for mindful giving to this SPARK SOLAR LIGHT Project. Each class that earns a light ($30) will put a “light up” on the hallway display.

COMMUNITY NEWS………. HALLOWEEN CANDY BUY BACK………….. Kids can bring in their unwanted Halloween candy the day after Halloween and we will buy it from them for $1 per pound. (They also get a little goody bag with a toothbrush, paste, etc.) The candy is then sent to an organization called Operation Gratitude, who then ships the candy to our troops overseas. Their website is www.operationgratitude.com We also encourage kids to bring along a note or card for the troops if they want to, thanking them for their service, etc. The event will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2-7 p.m. Location: Hudsonville Dental Associates, 3250 Central Blvd., Hudsonville, MI 49426. It’s a great way for the kids to give something back and support our service members. The candy goes a long way towards boosting morale.
