It was a a day of WALK•A•THON CELEBRATIONS! Mrs. Ray’s 2nd Grade Class (TOP EARNING CLASS @georgetownelem) Took their Limo Ride to PIZZA RANCH. They posed in front of the looooong white LIMO just before their departure.
Our day ended with a game of BUBBLE SOCCER. The PTC and Staff promised students that if they met the fundraising goal, we would face off against one another in a BLUE vs GOLD soccer game.
The game was run by COACH STUTZ (Blue Team) and COACH SMITH (Gold Team) and REF KOOIKER. Special guests included our heroes, GVSU LAKERS WOMEN’S Basketball Players. These amazing athletes served as line coaches as well ‘down bubble rescuers’ and most importantly, relief players. If it wasn’t for them, some members of the staff would still be on the field! A shout out to these great players: Piper Tucker, Taylor Lutz, Taylor Parmley, Key Wiard, Lindsay Baker, Kayla Dawson , Jill Steinmetz. And thank you Assistant Coach Phil Sayers for your support.
